Happy Planning~ August 31 -Sept. 6, 2015

How I'm loving this past week's layout!
I picked up a children's book at the thrift store for 35 cents and decided to incorporate some of the drawings by cutting them out and pasting them in.  I love it!
Here's a full shot~
And a few details of various days...

How I love my Happy Planner!  I know there are many other brands but the functionality is so practical, the pages come out easily and it's so pretty!
I'd love to hear from you!

Happy Planning!

Life has been SUPER busy as we 'hope' for cooler weather and look for a reprieve from the heat with the coming of fall.
It's not happening yet!  (bummer!)

I recently went to Hobby Lobby and saw Happy Planners for sale.  I knew I needed to get organized (who doesn't) and coupling that with a bit of creativity is definitely a win/win situation for me.

After debating for a few weeks I decided to take the plunge.  I had my 40% coupon and my total cost was about 14 dollars.

Not too shabby.

What I love about happy planning as compared to scrapbooking is that it's not overwhelming.  Little snippets of time and small areas to decorate really work to my advantage.  My plan is to make it a planner, organizer, prayer journal and scrapbook combination.
It's so much fun to decorate!

This is my first planned week.  No planning or preparation... just being a bit creative and enjoying myself.  My friends, Jess and John were getting ready to leave to live as missionaries in the Philippines so they were on my mind heavily that week as I prayed for their upcoming departure.
Here are some close ups of the details~

This is my second planned week~

I continued in prayer for my friends since they left on Thursday of that week.

I've been picking up some clearance chipboard pieces that work great.
I've also been incorporating some stamps as well.
I found these lovely dimensional stickers at the dollar tree and wish I had gotten more.  They are so pretty and feminine.
I've really been trying to increase my daily water intake so I made these water intake stickers in photoshop.
The little note and clock came from a children's book that I paid 35 cents for.  I love it!
